After much needed down time at Dan & Rosann’s today we said goodbye to them and headed down to the Tasman Peninsula for the next four nights.   It was great to spend time with them and find out about the adventures that they have been on.  I am in awe of how they pack their bike for their holidays and I still have a lot to learn.

Our first stop was at Dunalley for a cuppa at the Waterfront Cafe and so to the store to get some supplies.

Our accommodation for the next few nights was at this cute little cabin complete with open fire place.  It was quit cozy.

Port Arthur was our first tourist destination Monday and we spent quite a few hours looking around and going on the boat cruise that was part and parcel of the entry price.

Tuesday we went on a 3 hour Tasman cruise and we both think it is one of the best value things we have done.  Thanks to Rob and Karen for suggesting it.  The scenery is was spectacular, the boat ride was great and the commentary was just enough.  We both had a great time and so did Rupert.

A quick stop at Lucky Duck for a coffee and a curried Scallop pie……hmmmm

Yummy!
